AVANT ACOUSTICS ADDS TO DESIGN TEAM.

AVANT ACOUSTICS welcomes Senior Associate, Jeffrey Keirsey to the design staff.  

Keirsey comes to AVANT from a LORT (League of Resident Theaters) theater where he developed methods and standards of practices and taught technical sound design for graduate and undergraduate studies at The University of Missouri-Kansas City. 

Previously, Keirsey was an Audio Supervisor, Master Audio Engineer and Over-hire Audio Manager for the Kansas City Repertory Theatre. He is a Freelance Audio Engineer as well as skilled in guitar sound equipment repairs. Like many of the AVANT staff, he is also a musician. He is a member of the Audio Engineering Society.  

Keirsey received his Bachelor of Music Technologies at the University of Central Missouri in 2006. He has been a Sound Designer or Sound/Audio Engineer with various companies over the years such as The Midland Theater and has worked on big events like the annual Symphony in the Flint Hills in Kansas.

Keirsey joins the Audio-Visual Design team at Avant where he will focus on the consulting, design and commissioning phases of projects which includes in-depth user interfaces, construction documents, sound reinforcement systems, and sound masking and will be involved with all verticals. He is looking forward to working with architects, owners, engineers, and contractors everywhere. Keirsey began at AVANT on May 6, 2024.
