Holy Angels Catholic Church
Holy Angels Catholic Church was established in 1866 by a congregation of 15 families. Today, with their new 1,000-seat Sanctuary, Holy Angels is home to over 700 families.
The new facility features a welcoming gathering space that transitions into an inviting sanctuary with soaring wood-beamed ceilings and abundant natural light streaming down from the numerous skylight towers.
AVANT ACOUSTICS provided the following services:
- Room acoustics consultation
- Sound reinforcement system design
- On-site system commissioning, including operator training and assistance during the first use
Project Highlights:
To meet the challenges of this very lively space, AVANT designed a sound reinforcement system with steerable line arrays for the main source loudspeakers. The line arrays provide intelligible yet natural sound to the congregation that minimizes disruptive reflections from surrounding hard surfaces.
