AVANT ACOUSTICS assisted the athletic director and facilities team at De Soto High School to upgrade the sound systems for football, soccer, baseball, softball, basketball, tennis and track and field programs and facilities. Additionally, the AVANT team worked with the music and theater groups to design the acoustics and audio-visual system in the new performing arts theater addition.
AVANT ACOUSTICS provided the following services:
Project Highlights:
The press box and outdoor speaker system was outdated and ineffective for the needs of the fan experience for football and track & field. The relocation of the home team to the new grandstands opposite side of the field and the newly designed press box enabled AVANT to create new systems which are easier to operate and gives the fans a much better experience to hear announcements including remotely from the the field. The Cheer and Dance teams are also very happy with the results, as they can actually hear what they are performing to and so can the fans!
