Reed Middle School Commissioning Project

Avant provided acoustical consultation services for Reed Middle School in Springfield, Missouri. Our areas of focus included the Multipurpose Auditorium, the Commons, and several music classrooms. Additionally, we provided AV system design for the Multipurpose Auditorium. The school’s auditorium was designed to be a flexible space with retractable seating, allowing it to function like a traditional auditorium or with a more flexible flat floor layout. One unique aspect of this space was the faceted wall design that creates both architectural interest and acoustical diffusion. We are thankful for the opportunity to collaborate with such a dedicated and well-curated project team.
