Where We work

We have installed many AVANT ACOUSTICS-designed systems over the years. We find their design concepts to be on-point, and their willingness to be flexible as the installation process proceeds brings a true “partner” feel to project completion.

Several years after our first project together, AVANT ACOUSTICS quickly came to mind when a client asked for assistance with sound reverberation issues in their physical therapy gymnasium. Within a short period of time, AVANT ACOUSTICS evaluated the information and provided concise solutions within a range of budget parameters.

They made the collaboration effortless, and we will definitely recommend and consult with them on future projects.

After a conversation with one of the teachers for USD 232 [DeSoto Schools] regarding some training that had been received, I thought that I should reach out and express my appreciation for the very thorough, attentive, and overall professional manner in which you provided your training. The delivery kept the attention of the audience and was also inviting to inquiry. Thank you for your help and leadership throughout the A/V install, commissioning, and training.

When a project comes our way, AVANT ACOUSTICS is at the top of our list. The acoustical engineering for every project with AVANT as our consultant has been seamless.

I have worked with the professionals at AVANT on room acoustics and sound system designs on over 10 public assembly projects over the last 35 years. They have consistently provided high-quality design services and great customer service for all of our projects. I would not consider using anyone else.

I want to express my sincere appreciation for the expertise, knowledge, and support you and your colleagues from AVANT ACOUSTICS have provided to us on our paging systems for over 17 years. We look forward to continuing to work with you in the years to come.

The building performance is all that we hoped for it to be, and your data proves that the addition of the generator has a negligible impact on the site. It was a pleasure working with you on this important project.

RS&H has worked with AVANT ACOUSTICS since 1991 on over 20 airport terminal projects. We have found their consultation and design services to be a high-caliber asset on our projects.

AVANT ACOUSTICS has been a continual member of our design teams, able to seamlessly coordinate and work with our designers and engineering staff. We particularly appreciate the benefit of AVANT ACOUSTICS’s detailed on-site commissioning services to ensure systems were installed as designed and that they operate at their maximum potential.

AVANT Acoustics has always been a bright spot in our design teams. Their professional approach to acoustics and audio visual communications incorporate all aspects of the architecture and interior design. Their vast knowledge from experience combined with a desire to bring our clients the most current technologies and trends in the industry establish a confidence in HOK that we are getting the best in the business. Our clients respond equally to their confidence within this specialty industry. Our Washington Office will always team with AVANT ACOUSTICS on future aviation projects. We have worked with AVANT ACOUSTICS at Dulles Airport since 1993, delivering award-winning designs in aviation.

[AVANT's] ability to be patient and educate everyone was an outstanding trait during design. I also appreciate that AVANT takes ownership of and prescribes the infrastructure required to fully and thoughtfully install the systems they design.

Looking forward to working with AVANT again in the future!

AVANT ACOUSTICS did an outstanding job with the sound and acoustics. Thank you for creating a space we can all enjoy!

Renovations can be messy and time-consuming if the project hasn’t been well coordinated, but AVANT ACOUSTICS was a great team member. They listened to the client’s needs and recommended appropriate solutions – not too simple and not too sophisticated.

They thoroughly investigated existing conditions, and they took the initiative to coordinate with all team members so that the correct structure, power, and cooling were provided for their equipment and systems.

The audiovisual equipment in the auditorium now supports a variety of performance types and educational programs. These improvements have enriched the educational experiences of the students and the aesthetic experiences of audience members.

I really enjoy working with AVANT ACOUSTICS because they provide quality design and extreme responsiveness. They are up-to-date on the latest technology and creative with their design approach. They are great listeners who provide solutions that address the client’s specific needs.

We engaged with Avant Acoustics to analyze and then provide guidance on alternatives to address our issue of our newly installed HVAC units exceeding city sound ordinances at the property line. Andrew VonFeldt provided professional and expert support as we evaluated the modeling and recommendation he performed.  We proceeded with relocation design based on his recommendation of relocation and adding a sound enclosure to assure compliance with the city ordinance.  Avant was attentive and provided support in a timely manner when additional sound readings and evaluations were needed.  The final sound levels taken at the property line aligned with the modeling performed by Avant and met the city ordinances requirement.  Avant’s modeling, expertise, support, and very qualified staff played a critical role in the successful completion of the project. We would, without hesitation and with full confidence, recommend Avant Acoustical to provide their acoustical consulting services to anyone experiencing noise or sound issues or need an expert review of a project from an acoustical perspective.

We are so thrilled with the results of the industrial noise recommendations AVANT ACOUSTICS made for our machine noise issue. We have been trying to address this issue for two years. I can’t thank AVANT ACOUSTICS enough for helping us achieve this success.
