Ben Snook has been employed at AVANT ACOUSTICS since 2017, and provides support on a wide variety of projects as an AVANT ACOUSTICS Project Consultant/BIM Specialist. Ben’s professional focus includes conducting acoustics testing related to reverberation time and mechanical and architectural noise control, as well as assessing on-site conditions and analyzing data to develop recommendations for effective noise control solutions. Ben is also AVANT’s resident BIM/CAD expert, and produces design documentation in coordination with project design teams. In addition, Ben assists in Revit model creation and troubleshooting, and enjoys building custom Revit families for AVANT’s wide variety of project types.
Ben is an alumnus of the University of Kansas, where he studied Architectural Acoustics, under AVANT ACOUSTICS founder Bob Coffeen, as well as French.
When not on the job, Ben enjoys writing and recording original music as well as developing 35mm film at his home studio in Lawrence, Kansas.
